Susan Frances Angove Price

Susan Frances Angove was born in Corpus Christi, Texas where her father was stationed in the Navy during WWII. She grew up in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Susan was very bright and graduated early, in 1960 at age sixteen, from St. Louis Park High School. She played trombone in the Concert Band. She left Minnesota for Nebraska to go to college. She married Robert Hugh Slaughter November 22, 1969 in Lincoln, Nebraska. They were divorced April 20, 1971. She continued her education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, finishing with a Master of Arts degree in Psychology, December 22, 1972. Susan married her second husband, Jon D. Price, February 10, 1972, in Alexandria, Virginia. She was working as a psychologist at a hospital in Lincoln when she died of a gunshot wound to the head. No final judgment on cause, suicide or homicide. See her death certificate, and an article in the Lincoln Star, Monday, September 9, 1974. Susan was the only child of John Hamilton "Jack" Angove, Jr. and Ida (Impola) Angove. She was survived by her parents and paternal half-siblings Jan, Jack and Sandra.
