Donna a friend that would always brighten your day. She was so smart,  loving and fun. Frank and I spent many evenings with Donna her Husband John, Doug and Merle Jensen plus Merle's sister Madeline and husband Jon. Frank Boyce built the last home she lived in which was close to her devoted friend's  Merle and Doug Jensen. I always wished I had visited her more in those last years she was a treasure to all who knew her. A life well lived with intension and direction to good.

Donna and I met for the first time when she began public school in SLP in 9th grade.  From that moment on our special friendship would grow and our lives would be intertwined for nearly 50 years.  We shared life's joys as well as sorrows.  I was so blessed to call her my friend.  Donna was an exceptional person in every way.  She was beautiful, intelligent, kind, caring, compassionate and always a bit mischievous!

Multiple Sclerosis was a part of her life since her early twenties but she never allowed it to define who she was or how she approached life.  Her wonderful sense of humor never wavered even on her most difficult days.  There was no one who loved to laugh and have fun more than Donna and everyone loved being around her.  She had such enthusiasm for life and passion for people.  Donna had an amazing gift for connecting with people (anybody and everybody) on a personal level.   It was amazing how after only a brief encounter she would already be learning their life story always with genuine interest!  She had a wonderful way of making everyone feel special.

Donna was a nurse by profession but a teacher to me as I learned so much from her about how to live this life.  Donna left her family, friends and world too soon. No doubt I will always feel the huge loss of my kindred spirit.
