"Lefty" Ralph Eugene Wright

Wright, "Lefty" Ralph Eugene Age 79 of Minnetonka, MN passed away on October 12, 2015. Lefty (also known to some as "Gene") was born on December 12, 1935 in Sterling Rock Falls, IL. He is now reunited with his beloved grandson Theodore Wright; brother Jerry Wright; and many other loved ones. Survived by his wife Nan--high school sweetheart and best bud for 64 years; daughter Debbie Norgaarden (Jed); and son Todd (Andra Palmer); grandchildren Cole, Sarah and Paige as well as brother Robert (Marian) and sister-in-law Bev. Also many other treasured family members and friends. Lefty was passionate about his family and friends, St. Louis Park Schools, the Minnesota State High School League, the University of Minnesota Cross-Country and Track & Field events, playing tennis and golf, biking, road trips and family dinners. We will celebrate his life and share memories in a service of remembrance with reception to follow: Saturday, October 31st at 10:00 AM, Wayzata Community Church, 125 Wayzata Blvd E. in Wayzata. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Wayzata Community Church or donor's choice.
